Khmer Cooking Class & Teaching English Experience at Aspire School

Spend a meaningful day experiencing Cambodian culture while supporting local children through teaching English.

8:00 AM Optional Market Visit

Your day begins with an optional visit to a local market at 8:00 AM, where you will learn about Khmer ingredients, traditional foods, and Cambodian culture. Hotel pickup from Siem Reap can be arranged for an additional fee.

Khmer Cooking Class

There, you will take part in a hands-on Khmer cooking class led by local staff. Learn how to prepare traditional Cambodian dishes using fresh ingredients before enjoying the meal you have helped create.

Time With Children

Following lunch, you will have the opportunity to spend time with the children through games and activities before afternoon English classes begin.

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM English Teaching

From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, visitors are encouraged to assist with English lessons for students aged 6 to 14 years old. No teaching experience is required—just a good level of English. School staff will provide guidance and materials.

Apsara Dance Performance

The day concludes with a traditional Apsara dance performance by Aspire School students, showcasing an important part of Cambodia’s cultural heritage.
